Join us at the SEAD Gallery and Bookshop for this month’s Third Thursday social happening from 7-10 pm as we celebrate our newly unveiled collection of vinyl records available for purchase!
Enjoy an evening of live music and dancing as you explore our current exhibits on display, or scan the shelves of our bookshop for something new to read. Would you like to go on a ‘blind date with a book’? Then choose a wrapped novel with only a few words of description on the paper cover and let us surprise you!
Perhaps your fascination with vinyl has you seeking to complete a collection, or maybe you’ve never held a record in your life and want to understand what all the fuss is about. If that’s the case, we invite you to step into the gallery and explore our collection of music from artists ranging from Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, The Police, The Velvet Underground, to Beethoven. With our on-site record player, we encourage you ‘pick and play’ some of the records from our shop or feel free to bring and share some of your favorites from your personal collection!
Though we will provide light refreshments and complimentary pours of wine, you are welcome to bring your own spirits. There is no registration required, so grab a friend, your favorite pair of dancing shoes, and join us for an evening of fun!
