Altered Book is an inspired and fun workshop that guides participants through the steps necessary to transform any hardback book into their very own spiritual journal. More importantly the workshop, led by local artist Cherry Moore, is an exercise in creativity and personal exploration. At the end of the workshop you will take home with you an altered book as well as the personal insight, skills and creative energy to alter many more books in the future!

Cherry Winkle Moore, MFA, MDiv
Cherry Winkle Moore is an artist and a minister. She has a Master of Fine Arts degree and a Master of Divinity. Cherry says the MFA stands for Minister of Fine Arts and the MDiv stands for Making Divine Images Visible. She teaches one painting class at Blinn College in Bryan and works as a Chaplain for Hospice Brazos Valley. Visit her website at www.cherrywinklemoore.com.
