SEAD After Dark: To Trust Visitors or Not to Trust Visitors, That is the Question
February 6 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Objects in museum collections are priceless and irreplaceable. Yet museums allow just about anyone to walk through their doors and enjoy the exhibitions on what amounts to an honor system. Sometimes visitors have ulterior motives and sometimes visitors can be destructive. Are we as museum professionals taking too many risks with our prized objects? Facilitator: Heather Ann Bennett, Collections Manager, University Art Galleries Department, Texas A&M.
As part of our SEAD After Dark series, we will provide the venue, snacks, and facilitator, and all you have to do is register and BYOB! This class costs $9.50, or you can register for all 3 classes for $25. You must register to attend the course. To register, visit seadgallery.com/
